AERIS Adjusta Wheelchair

The AERIS Adjusta is a modern, highly configurable manual wheelchair built on a lightweight aluminium frame, designed to suit a wide range of body shapes and care needs rather than a single fixed configuration. It is crash tested and approved to a 136kg weight capacity, giving users and carers confidence in its structural strength and transport safety. The seat width is available in 40cm, 46cm and 49cm options (commonly sold as 16", 18" and 20" models), with seat depth adjustable across five positions from 40cm to 50cm, allowing a close, supportive fit to be dialled in for the individual rather than relying on a one-size seat. Backrest height (40–46cm) and backrest angle (85°–105°) are also adjustable, along with armrest height, arm pad position and footplate height, so the chair can be tailored as a user's posture or condition changes over time. The reinforced cross-brace frame folds to a compact 34cm width for easier transport and storage in a car boot. Removable, padded seat and backrest components support day-to-day comfort, while quick-release rear wheels and swing-away, height-adjustable footplates make transfers and daily handling easier for both the user and an attendant. Because of its combination of adjustability, light weight and tested weight rating, the AERIS Adjusta is well suited to home use, rehabilitation settings, and healthcare facilities where a chair may need to be reconfigured for different residents over its working life.
