Aluminium Multifolding Ramp

The Aluminium Multifolding Ramp is a portable access ramp built from lightweight aluminium and designed to fold into multiple sections for compact storage and transport. Available in lengths of up to 244cm, it provides enough length to create a gentle, manageable gradient for wheelchairs, mobility scooters, and walking frames with wheels crossing steps, thresholds, or raised entryways where a single short ramp would be too steep. It carries a safe working load (SWL) of 272kg, which comfortably covers the combined weight of most manual and power wheelchair users together with their chair. Folding into several hinged sections rather than a single rigid panel makes the ramp considerably easier for one person to carry and store, whether that's in a car boot, garage, or under a bed, and unfolds quickly when needed for use at a front step, a caravan door, or between different level changes around the home. The surface typically includes a textured or ribbed finish to provide secure traction in wet or dry conditions, reducing the risk of wheel slip during transitions. Because it folds down rather than telescoping or rolling, it tends to be more compact and lighter than an equivalent-length single-piece ramp. This ramp suits users and carers who need a longer, higher-capacity access solution than a small personal ramp can provide, but still want something portable enough to move between locations as needed.
