Aluminium Overtoilet Aid

The Aluminium Overtoilet Aid is a freestanding frame that fits over an existing toilet, raising the effective seat height and providing sturdy armrests on either side to make sitting down and standing up considerably safer and easier. It is built from powder-coated aluminium, which keeps the frame lightweight enough to lift and reposition between bathrooms while remaining rust-proof and suitable for constantly wet environments. The unit features a wide, detachable injection-moulded seat and splashguard that lift off easily for cleaning, and ergonomically angled arms that give a firm, comfortable grip when pushing up to stand. Height is adjustable, with a seat height range of approximately 470-620mm, a width between the arms of about 445mm, and armrests sitting roughly 230mm above the seat, so it can be tailored to the user's own height and leg strength. The base measures up to about 550mm wide by 610mm deep for a stable stance, and non-slip rubber tips on each leg grip the floor securely even when wet. It carries a maximum user weight of 150kg and has been tested to conform with Australian Standard AS/NZS 3973:2009 for toileting aids. This product suits people with reduced hip or knee flexibility, arthritis, recent joint surgery, or general lower-body weakness who find a standard-height toilet too low to use safely and independently.
