Aluminium Single Fold Ramp

The Aluminium Single Fold Ramp is a portable access ramp that folds in half along its length, closing like a suitcase for compact carrying and storage. Built from lightweight aluminium, it is designed to give wheelchair and mobility scooter users a smooth, secure crossing over steps, thresholds, and small level changes at home, in vehicles, or when out and about. It carries a safe working load of 300kg, giving it enough capacity for the combined weight of most manual and power wheelchairs, scooters, and their users. The single-fold design means the ramp opens out into one continuous, uninterrupted surface when in use, avoiding the small ridges or seams that multi-section ramps can have at their hinge points, which helps provide a smoother ride for castors and small wheels. When folded, an integrated carry handle is typically included so the ramp can be transported much like a briefcase, making it practical to keep in a car boot for use wherever it's needed. A textured surface finish helps maintain grip and reduce slipping in both dry and wet weather. This type of ramp is a popular choice for users who want a single, dependable ramp for regular use at a specific doorway or step, or who need a robust, higher-capacity ramp that is still manageable for one person to carry and deploy without assistance.
