Rather than simply raising and lowering a patient, the powered pivot frame can tilt and reposition the patient's angle during a transfer via the hoist's own handset, which helps caregivers achieve a more controlled, comfortable, and dignified sit-to-stand or repositioning movement for larger patients without needing to manually adjust the sling or frame. Because the pivoting action is built into the frame itself, there is no loss of the hoist's usable lifting height, which matters in facilities with lower ceilings or beds.
