Eva 450

The Eva 450 is a versatile mobile patient lifting hoist built for bariatric and general lifting situations, with a safe working load of 205kg. Constructed from aluminium to keep its overall weight down to approximately 34kg despite its higher capacity, it remains easy for a single caregiver to manoeuvre around beds, bathrooms, and furniture. The base width adjusts from 585mm to 880mm on the inner measurement and 685mm to 980mm on the outer measurement, giving a 1300mm base length and a lifting range of 500mm to 1790mm via a mast that can be set to three height positions, covering everything from floor transfers to positioning beside a raised bed. It uses a 450mm sling bar with reliable safety latches to secure sling loops during the lift, and height-adjustable handle bars let caregivers set the push handle to a comfortable, ergonomic working height. Encapsulated twin castors roll smoothly and require no maintenance, while an accessible electrical emergency stop button on the control box, along with both electrical and manual emergency lowering functions, provide important safety fallbacks if the hoist needs to be stopped or lowered without power. It runs on a high-capacity battery designed for extended service life between charges. The Eva 450 is designed to work with compatible lifting slings across transfers to and from the floor, chair, or bed, and should only be operated by trained caregiving staff with slings rated to match its safe working load.
