Eva 600

The Eva 600 is a mobile bariatric lifting hoist designed for higher-capacity patient transfers, carrying a safe working load of 270kg. It is fitted with a wider 600mm sling bar compared to the standard Eva 450, making it better suited to bariatric patients and available in either regular-height or low-leg configurations — the low-leg model adds double front castors of 35mm diameter to maintain smooth rolling under the increased load. Electric base widening extends the outer base width up to 1150mm (650–1050mm inner), giving stable support for larger patients, while height-adjustable handle bars keep the working position comfortable and ergonomic for caregivers during transfers. The base measures 1400mm in length, and despite its higher capacity the hoist is built from aluminium, keeping its weight to approximately 39kg for easier manoeuvring around beds and bathrooms. A three-position adjustable mast delivers a lifting range of 500mm to 1810mm, and the unit runs on a battery rated at approximately 2.9Ah. As with the Eva 450, it is designed to work with compatible bariatric lifting slings for transfers to and from the floor, chair, or bed, and should only be used by trained caregivers with slings and yokes rated to match the hoist's 270kg safe working load.
