Invacare Pegasus Metro

The Invacare Pegasus Metro is a compact 4-wheel mobility scooter aimed at everyday users who want reliable, easy-to-operate transport for local trips, shopping centres, and community outings. Its defining safety feature is an automatic speed reduction system that senses when the tiller is turned and slows the scooter down through corners, taking some of the guesswork out of cornering for less confident riders. A two-step disengaging lever prevents the scooter from accidentally rolling free when being pushed manually, and the tiller angle adjusts easily via a lever so users of different heights can find a comfortable driving position. Weather-sealed electronics and motor housing protect the drivetrain from everyday corrosion and moisture exposure. With an unladen weight of around 110kg and an overall footprint of roughly 660mm wide by 1270mm long, the Pegasus Metro stays manageable in lifts, shopping aisles, and home hallways, while its 260mm turning radius allows it to navigate tight spaces without multi-point turns. It supports users up to about 136kg, reaches a top speed of 10km/h, and offers a driving range of up to 54km from its twin 12V-50Ah batteries, comfortably covering a day of local errands on one charge. The seat, backrest, and depth are all adjustable to suit different body sizes, and Invacare backs the scooter with a 5-year mobility scooter warranty, reflecting confidence in its everyday reliability.
