Jay 2 Deep Contour Enclosed Ballistic Stretch Cushion Cover

This is a genuine replacement Stretch cover for the JAY J2 Deep Contour cushion by Sunrise Medical, purpose-built to enclose and protect the J2's contoured foam base and fluid pad. The cover combines a stretch nylon top panel with tough ballistic nylon sides: the stretch top allows the cover to move with the contoured foam beneath it, permitting proper immersion into the cushion's shaped surface without creating the increased surface tension that a rigid, non-stretch cover would cause, while the ballistic nylon sides resist abrasion and impact during everyday transfers, keeping the cushion's internal components securely in place. A zippered closure fully encloses the base and fluid pad, and the cover is finished to meet flame-resistance requirements. Velcro strips on the underside help fasten and secure the cushion to the wheelchair seat, preventing shifting during use. At approximately half a pound, the cover itself adds negligible weight to the overall cushion assembly. It is available across the full J2 Deep Contour size range, from 14 to 24 inches in width and 14 to 20 inches in depth, so the correct size should be matched to the specific cushion it will be fitted to.
