Shoprider Viking

The Shoprider Viking is a full-featured everyday mobility scooter that pairs a high 185kg safe working load with an unusually long driving range for its class. A full-function LCD display shows speed, battery level, and drive settings at a glance, and the scooter offers selectable high, medium, and low speed modes so new or less confident riders can start out cautiously before working up to full speed. Front and rear suspension, together with 406mm pneumatic tyres, smooths out footpaths, driveways, and uneven ground, while a front disc handbrake supplements the automatic electromagnetic brake for extra stopping confidence. A full lighting package includes an LED headlight with low and high beam, rear-activated brake lights, indicators, and hazard lights, giving the Viking a more road-ready feel than a basic scooter. Powered by a 2.0Hp four-pole motor and twin 75-amp batteries with an 8-10 amp charger, the Viking delivers a driving range of up to 54km per charge and a top speed of 10km/h, with a maximum climb angle of 9 degrees. Adjustable seats and armrests let users fine-tune their driving position for comfort over longer trips. With overall dimensions of roughly 1550mm long, 700mm wide, and 1305mm high, a turning circle of about 1650mm, and a weight of around 140kg with batteries fitted, the Viking suits users who want a well-equipped, higher-capacity scooter for regular, longer-distance everyday use.
