The Sonata 150 Electric Spread Leg is an easy-to-use everyday mobile patient hoist with a 150kg safe working load, designed for routine transfers in hospital, care facility, and home environments. Its defining feature is electric leg-spread adjustment, which widens or narrows the base at the touch of a button rather than requiring a manual foot pedal or hand lever — a genuine advantage on carpeted floors or when manoeuvring around a heavier client, where manual leg spreading can otherwise require real physical effort from the caregiver. The base measures 1100mm in length, with an external width adjusting between 670mm and 1075mm and an internal width between 570mm and 970mm, and it offers 130mm of under-bed clearance for accessing lower beds. It uses a Linak Jumbo Care control system with advanced diagnostics, powered by a European-standards-compliant LA44 linear actuator, giving reliable, smooth lifting performance and useful fault-diagnostic feedback for maintenance staff.
