The Sonata 150 Manual Spread Leg is a lightweight, compact everyday patient hoist with a 150kg safe working load, offering the same reliable Sonata platform as the electric-leg model but with a manually operated foot pedal or hand lever leg-spread mechanism instead of an electric actuator. This keeps the hoist simpler and typically lighter for facilities that don't need powered base widening, at approximately 41kg total weight. It uses SPACE LINK Technology to optimise the available lifting space around the patient, increasing the maximum lifting height and improving floor-lift capability compared to a conventional mast design. The base measures 1005mm in length, with external width adjusting from 605mm to 1070mm and internal width from 510mm to 975mm, giving an average lift range of around 870mm between a minimum yoke height of 420mm and a maximum of 1735mm. Under-bed clearance is 130mm, allowing access to most standard beds, and the hoist folds down to a minimum storage height of 1260mm for compact storage between uses.
