VoltRide Fold Compact

The VoltRide Fold Compact is designed around a simple priority: fitting into spaces a full-size bike never could. The frame folds down via a central hinge in a matter of seconds, reducing it to approximately 80 x 40 x 60cm — small enough to slide under a desk at work, store in a small apartment hallway, or load into a car boot alongside other luggage, making it a practical option for mixed-mode commutes that combine cycling with a train or bus leg. Smaller wheels keep the folded package compact but also make the bike noticeably nimble at low speeds, which suits weaving through pedestrian areas, tight apartment building corridors, and crowded bike storage areas. A 250W rear hub motor paired with a removable 36V 7.8Ah battery delivers a realistic range of around 40km per charge and a top assisted speed of 25km/h, appropriate for shorter urban hops rather than long-distance riding. A front basket mount adds everyday practicality, letting you carry a bag, a small load of shopping, or a laptop bag without needing a backpack — a small but genuinely useful detail for a bike meant for last-mile trips to and from a train station, or short errands around a neighbourhood. Weight capacity is rated to 100kg. Because of its smaller wheels and shorter wheelbase compared to a full-size commuter bike, the Fold Compact is best suited to paved urban surfaces rather than rough or unpaved terrain.
