The VoltRide Trekking Elite is built for riders planning longer distances than a typical commute — weekend rides into the countryside, multi-hour outings, or light touring. Touring-style handlebars offer multiple hand positions to reduce fatigue on longer rides, and a rear pannier rack comes fitted as standard, ready for touring bags without needing to buy and fit an aftermarket rack separately. Full-length mudguards keep road spray off the rider in wet conditions, and dual water bottle mounts on the frame support proper hydration on rides long enough that a single bottle isn't enough — a detail that matters once you're riding for several hours rather than a 20-minute commute. The frame geometry balances a comfortable upright-enough riding position with enough stability at speed for confident longer-distance riding. An extended-capacity 48V 17.5Ah lithium battery is the largest in the VoltRide range, providing a realistic range of around 70km per charge — meaningfully further than a standard commuter e-bike battery, which matters when you're a long way from a charging point. A 350W rear hub motor delivers efficient, sustained assist rather than short bursts of power, better suited to steady long-distance pedalling than aggressive acceleration. Weight capacity is rated to 130kg, accounting for a loaded rider carrying touring gear on the rear rack. Top assisted speed is 32km/h.
